About me and the blog

Hello and welcome. If you want to skip this introduction, you can go straight to the blog to start reading my blog posts about narcissistic abuse, from my personal experiences.

Now, more about me and the blog. I write about the narcissistic, emotional abuse I experienced for several years, but also about my journey to freedom, and healing, from it. Although I focus primarily on narcissistic abuse, I will include the terms psychopath(ic) and sociopath(ic) as well, in tags. The reason for this is that I personally found, from all I’ve read, that they seem to have a lot of similarities, especially when it comes to the experiences of their partners. Please observe, that one part of the blog is called “Out of the fog diaries”, this part is more like a personal journal, about me, my life, the aftermath of narcissistic abuse. Although it does contain a lot of personal thoughts on narcissism, it also is used by me to journal other thoughts, from my everyday life. You are of course very welcome to read these diaries also. However, if you are only interested in learning more about narcissism and emotional abuse, you might want to skip the Out of the fog diaries, since they are a “mishmash of everything”!

(Disclaimer follows here:) I’m not a professional within the field of psychology, so my experiences should not be taken as professional advice. If you require therapy or medical advice, please seek professional, medical help and advice from proper authorities in the field. In my writings, I write in general and from personal experiences, about narcissists, however I am aware that maybe my descriptions don’t fit all narcissists, because since they are humans, there can be variations and exceptions, of course.

My intention is not to offend anyone, but to describe the situation that victims of the narcissistic abuse can find themselves in. I write of the narcissist as a “he” cause that is my experience. There are also female narcissists, so the text could be replaced with a “she”. I have gotten a lot of inspiration and wisdom from countless other websites and blogs, however I have not copied any material texts. I might sometimes reblog posts from other bloggers, if so I will show that it’s clearly not my material. I will try to credit other webpages and blogs who have been an inspiration, they will be in my Profile Links and also in a blog post, or separate page, later on. You are welcome to comment my posts or ask questions in the comment section. All I ask is that you keep a respectful tone in your comments, for the well-being of all visitors to the blog. Feel free to tell something of your own story in the comments. Welcome to my blog, feel free to spread information about it to friends, reblog my posts, etc. (However, please do not copy my texts and use them as your own, for publishing).

The goal of my blog is mainly for my own purposes, to get a sort of “therapeutic outlet” for my emotions and experiences. But I will be even happier if even one person can derive some helpful information or support from reading my blog. 🙂 Enjoy the reading. >>>> blog posts to your right, ladies and gents.
